Not kinky mind you, it's kinki, after the region of Japan my sister lived in. When I visited in November 2002 she presented me a with a bag containing this yarn (and the needles). I hoarded the yarn until Molly moved back here, taught me to knit and I felt like I could make something cute with it.
This is what I came up with. Just a simple scarf, of hot pink yarn with a dark pink glitter yarn accent. The end of the scarf is 30 rows of double seed/moss stitch with the two yarns held together. The rest is just a simple single rib. If I was more learned I would have done some shaping between the two sections, but I actually like the way it has turned out so far.
