I started my exciting! new! job! on Monday, so Easter Sunday was filled with nervous tension. To relieve some of the stress I decided to start on Paris Loop. Cicco is very fun to work with, but if it gets tangled up you may as well give up. This is the first time I've ever used circular needles. The circular needles have been a challenge, but also rather fun. It knits up very quickly, but I'll confess that I've been a very bad girl and haven't really concerned myself with gauge. I guess the truth will come out when I finish it up (hopefully this weekend). Who even knows if I will ever have cause to wear a poncho? I never thought I'd have any desire to knit a poncho, but I thought the pattern was adorable. Next thing you know I'll be knitting socks (don't hold your breath though).

That yarn looks crazy! Is it hard to knit with?

It is more weird than hard. I've never knit with a thick and thin before.
