Look away sister Molly - I know you are nearly as sick to death of this project as I am.
Frida is going to be the death of me! I finished up my abbreviated version of the straps and, to be plain, they look like crap! I'm also not particularly fond of the raw edges where I bound off for the neckline, etc., so I think it needs some crochet along the edge to clean it up. I broke down and ordered another ball of yarn from Hello Knitty. I like their site a lot and their shipping is very cheap, so it wasn't too painful. I am determined to bend this knit to my will and force it into cuteness. I shall be victorious!
***wee update*** I noticed some clever googling visitor did a search to see just how many times I have mentioned Frida. The results are embarassing! I'm sure you all are sick of it. The end is near -- I promise!
I also ordered some of the new cotton yarn from Knit Picks. I chose Violet Shine to make my Spring Fling. I got sucked into the free shipping for orders > $30 and also ordered some of the Andean Silk and a few little knitting doohickeys. They've already sent me an email to let me know the order is on its way. Sounds like good customer service.

And just the name ... "hello knitty" ... that in itself is enough to make me love them.

I do love their site a lot. I don't know what my problem is with finishing this pattern. They have fabulous service - the yarn arrived in only 4 days!
